Hal Zeck and Edward Sommers combined their names to create the Hal Edwards Orchestra in 1942.   This group played at numerous dance halls throughout Wisconsin Dells area including The Warf in Wisconsin Dells, Crystal Bar in Mauston, the Valley Inn,  Chula Vista Resort, Pierce’s Supper Club, and at Fort McCoy.  Dane Nash was asked to join the band in 1969 and became the bands leader in 1975.  The band has continued to play at ballrooms and Devil’s Lake Chateau ever since with the help of many friends and family.
